Inkjet Printing / Large format digital printing is the most common printing methods uses in the advertising world. 

Traditionally, Silkscreen or offset printing are the common and cost-effective way of printing.  With the improvement in new technology, digital printing had become the most popular method in the printing world. Digital printing uses solvent ink, UV Curable Ink, or even latex ink.  

Solvent inkjet printing is use to produce large format signage. The inks used are solvent-based, as opposed to water-based. Solvent inkjet printing pairs well with substrates like flexible, un-coated vinyl. Typical solvent inkjet printing often involves uncoated materials like self-adhesive vinyl and scrim banners.

A UV inkjet printer uses a UV digital printing process to apply a 2D digital image to a 3D object. A UV inkjet printer propels tiny droplets of ink onto paper, plastic, glass, metal and other substrates in order to form an image through the use of an ink delivery system, also known as a print head. The printing color is able to last for 3 years outdoor, if solvent inkjet printing color can only last for 6 months. Not solid ink, mix with thinner color red may turn to pink.
